Artichokes
I must have been a weird child. While most kids were requesting pizza and mac & cheese, I was requesting artichokes. These were my FAVORITE when I was little. I still love them, but I don't make them very often because HELLO, they are expensive!! No wonder my parents only bought them on "special occasions."
Put them in a large pot and boil for about 45 minutes-1 hour.

Mmmmm... My mouth is watering. It must be a family thing because these are my favorite. I totally crave them when I'm pregnant (and no, I haven't had any recently:) But just looking at the picture makes me think I might change the menu for next week... if they weren't so expensive.
